Inspiring, passionate, attentive, warm, welcoming
What inspired you to become a Pilates teacher?
The promise of teaching a method that would enhance the lives of others, while allowing me to lead as an example and embody the principles of Pilates (Alignment, Flow, Precision, Concentration, Centering, and Breath).
What makes your class unique?
I love to sequence exercises in a way that feels amazing for the body, mind and spirit and play my favorite playlist of the moment to keep flowing. I'm very hands-on and focused on technique...and I encourage smiling and having fun.
What's your favorite thing about teaching at PPYThrive?
The joy of sharing my passion for Pilates, health and wellness with the community is what has me springing up the stairs everyday to teach. We have such a special community of teachers and students that truly care about each other and have a unified goal to THRIVE each and everyday.
What are you doing when you're not teaching Pilates?
When I'm not teaching, I'm likely doing one of 4 things:
1. Working on making Thrive the best Pilates studio in Philadelphia and beyond.
2. Running after my 5 year-old son, Luke.
3. Talking business with my husband, Nick (and hopefully fitting in a date night here and there).
4. Dancing around my apartment to my latest playlist.
What's one song that will always pump you up?
Groove is in the Heart by Dee Lite
