approachable, playful, thoughtful, intentional, dynamic
What inspired you to become a yoga/Pilates teacher?
I love bodies and dynamic movement - and when I realized that being a doctoral student could lead to a fairly sedentary routine, finding new ways to move and breathe became crucial for my mental and physical wellness. My own practice and general love of teaching spun out into my desire to guide others in healthy, fun movement and breath.
What makes your class unique?
I hope I offer students a class that is challenging but also makes them laugh at themselves or at least not take themselves too seriously. We move our bodies in such strange and playful ways - plus laughing is great core work!
What's your favorite thing about teaching at PPYThrive?
It's been my grounding space for nearly 8 years as both an instructor and a student. That's hard to find.
What are you doing when you're not teaching yoga/Pilates?
Usually reading or writing something, or admiring how beautiful my dog Sappho is.
What's one song that will always pump you up?
Anything LCD Soundsystem or Frank Ocean
Current services offered: Group classes - yoga slow flow, yin, and vinyasa; Pilates mat
